Will Apple release the iPhone 16 series on September 10?

Apple has scheduled an “It’s Glowtime” event on September 9 at their Apple Park headquarters, where they are anticipated to focus on the iPhone 16 and related accessories such as AirPods and the Apple Watch.

The “It’s Glowtime” event is scheduled for 10 am on September 9 (which is midnight on September 10 in Vietnam). During this event, Apple is anticipated to unveil the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch, and AirPods 4. Additionally, Apple will announce the official release dates for iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and other software updates.

All four new iPhone models are expected to feature an Action button and a Capture button for photo taking, zooming in and out, and light pressing for autofocus. The Capture button is situated on the right side of the device, just below the power button.

Apple plans to equip all iPhone 16 models with the A18 chip to support the Apple Intelligence suite in iOS 18. While the standard iPhone 16 won’t see significant new features, the Pro line will receive an increase in screen size, from 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches to 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches for the Pro and Pro Max. Additionally, both models will feature a 5x telephoto zoom camera, which will be exclusive to the Pro Max.

Regarding the Apple Watch, the standard Series 10 model is expected to have a slimmer design and a larger screen, though these changes will be subtle. Apple also intends to update the Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Ultra. New health features such as sleep apnea detection and blood pressure monitoring are anticipated, but it remains uncertain if they will be released this year.

For wireless earbuds, there will be a successor to the AirPods 3 and a new model with active noise cancellation that is more affordable than the Pro version.
